The best afterwork in The Woodlands is on a Padel court.

Friday, September 11, we're teaming up with La Maison Houston for the kind of evening that starts right after work and ends when the DJ decides. Play first, then everyone comes off the courts for drinks, charcuterie boards and music.

How the night runs:

• 6:00 PM — Doors open. Say hi, drop your bag, warm up.
• 6:15 PM — Padel. Open play rotations, all levels, no partner needed. Never played before? We'll walk you through it — most people here started that way.
• 8:00 PM — Rackets down. Lobb's Coffee & Bar takes over with the charcuterie boards, the bar opens up and the DJ set runs until close.
• 10:00 PM — That's a wrap.

Good to know:

• Come straight from the office, just bring sneakers with clean soles for the court.
• Rackets are on us. Bring yours if you have one.
• The bar stays open until 11 PM
• Spots on court are limited, so book early.
